A Microbiologist's Take on BJJ

Recently I have discovered a very nice article on hygiene on BJJ that I though I'd share on my blog. It's on the Tangled Triangle Blog by Megan Williams and she did it with the help of her super microbiologist friend Brea.
Of course it also applies to Judo and Judoka, though I believe it'll be of more help to the jiu-jitsu crowd who seem to have a more relaxed take on hygiene. Still interesting for everyone, so go on and read it!

Em todo o caso, é um artigo muito interessante sobre higiene no jiu-jitsu (também adaptável transversalmente ao Judo) muito interessante e útil. Podem experimentar usar o google translate se não se derem bem com o idioma de Shakespeare, mas a tradução automática deve obrigar-vos a um esforço extra de compreensão.

Awesome collaboration - (in English e em Português)

In November 2010, the Portuguese Judo Federation signed a protocol with the Portuguese Postal Services (CTT - Finantial branch). I've had these flyers with me for a long time but I've been a very lazy boy.
In my opinion, the final result is pretty cool.

Em Novembro de 2010, a Federação Portuguesa de Judo assinou um protocolo com os CTT (ramo Finança). Já tenho estes flyers há muito tempo mas tenho sido um menino preguiçoso.

Na minha opinião o resultado final é muito engraçado.

RIP Tiago Alves

Portuguese multi-medal winner judoka and young Judo prospect Tiago Alves passed away yesterday losing a battle with cancer. My heart goes out to his family and friends.
